Apparently because it's racist to do so... However I find that that is a double standard... because I too believe that he is a blithering idiot that isn't any better than Pres. Bush when it comes to his speaking skills... the only props I can give him though is the ability to say ask instead of aks... :/

and UHHHH is not a speech impediment... it's lack of speaking skills... my former speech teacher would have had his hide for saying UHHHHH and UMMMM all the time... :/

At least Obama is capable of saying the word NUCLEAR, which to date Bush is unable to pronounce correctly.  And Bush has trouble with speeches he should breeze through.  

BTW, maybe the reason you prefer Bush is because Obama uses big words and concepts you fail to understand.

The one I loved the most was when the 7 yo girl threw him a real hardball with "Why do you want to be president?"....um, uh, uh...it was hilarious and very telling...when he finally answered he of course denegrated america by telling the 7 you girl it wasn't very good and he needed to improve it...i paraphrased, but make no mistake that is what he said.

No doubt that once Obama gets elected - he will have some gaffes, but noone will ever touch the sheer level of ineptitude and ignorance of even the most basic 'you teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test', or "Do you have blacks, too?" I watched Odrama a few Sundays ago when he spoke at the Minority Writers Convention and he was indeed stammering. He is difficult to understand and uses far to much regular joe type speak - I don't want the leader of my country and his wife using incorrect grammar which I have heard him and her use on one too many interviews. They are trying to connect with the common folk and lets face it they are not common folk.
