  1. They don't have to but they all have - even the Queen.

  2. Some of them have sort-of given interviews but HM does not and never will.  The reasons should be obvious.

  3. The royal family do give interviews! Just recently, the princes, William and Harry gave an interview to the American television personality Matt Lauer, during which they spoke very openly about their lives, including many personal aspects.

About a year ago, Prince Charles and the two boys gave an interview to a couple of UK celebrity interviewers, during which they were very natural and open.

The royals are trained in public speaking and to meet and talk with strangers of all kinds from a very early age. It is very unlikely they will ever 'slip up' in that sort of setting, they are too experienced and well taught.

It's their private lives that seem to give them trouble ~ just like the rest of us!

    Cheers! :-)

  4. I'm not sure which planet you have been living on just recently, but Princes William and Harry gave a very interesting interview only a few weeks ago...

  5. They don't give interviews because they don't have to.

  6. They all sutter dreadfully.

  7. As I understand, Royals do not give interviews for two reasons:

    1. According to British protocol, they are not entitled to have, or express, an opinion (since they are apolitical)

    2. They do not choose to, nor can anyone force them to (I like that reason!)

  8. They do, sometimes.  Seriously, would you want the media hounding you every waking minute?
