Because there's huge pressure from both Dems and Repubs to leave the illegals alone.  They all want the Latino vote.  Repubs want cheap labor,  Dems want them in unions.

The company's entire management structure should go to prison.

Because they are a major use of resources and manpower to conduct. The feds got lucky in this one, there was a Union man in there with an axe to grind, maybe the unions will start encouraging their members to go to the feds now, and maybe this will put some of the rest to flight.

It happens ever so often here...

I used to live in NE Texas near Pilgrim's Pride Chicken corporate (Bo Pilgrim lived in Pittsburg, TX) and of COURSE there were zillions of Hispanics there.  There was a raid and lots were taken.  

When word got out, all illegals didn't show up anywhere for work.  They stayed in their houses and waited it out.  They are still there and it really didn't do any long term good.

Anyone who breaks the law should be  prosecuted.  What's wrong with enforcing the law?  Illegals come in droves because it's easy money and they send 99% back home, so they do nothing for the local economies.  And as far as they do jobs that Americans won't - that is hogwash.  I know American college graduates who can't find work in their area who would do anything to support their families.  One man in particular moved from Youngstown, Ohio to Louisiana to get one of those jobs 'that Americans won't do" just to support his family.

Close the borders to illegals, deport any illegal with a criminal record.  Force others to get work permits (and learn English) and take the regular path-way to citizenship - no amnesty - no short-cuts.
