Why don't they get it?!?!?!?!

Latley, alot of my friends have been telling me how they dont know how i live with my sister. They say that she is a brat and that my parents spoil her way more then she deserves. They say its not fair because i work, get straight a's, and still everything that i do is seen as wrong in their eyes. I think that they spoil her because they feel bad for the fact that she has no friends. My mom talked to me about this yesterday, and i told her everything that my frineds told me, and she said that i was lying. Then they went off about what a great person my sister is, and how i should be inspired by her. I was so frusterated! How can i get them to see that 9 year olds who talk back to thier babysitters, cry when they stub their toes, and use the "Your not my mom so i dont have to listen to you" excuse frequently are not inpirational?

Why don't you and your friends get it? She's nine get off her back. You are not her mother. Just live your life and be happy. Your acting like your not old enough to hold a job. Just look at your life and keep heading in the good direction that you described to us. Keep your sister as just that. Your sister. Show by example how to ack, How to do well in school and stop showing that you want to be spoiled.

Don't try and convince them otherwise!  Your parents will see your sister the way they want to see her until she does something that disproves their thoughts about her.You don't want to be a tattler, but until you see your sister do something that will harm her or anyone, wait to talk to your parents. When you do, talk to both of them at the same time.
