  1. I have two thoughts, one is that a Great White might be hard to handle and one is a burden but two or more would be worse. Second, some Great Whites are rogue if any blood went into the the tank it would be h**l.

  2. unlike some other types of sharks, great whites will die in captivity. they have not been able to fully understand why. they will stop eating, bump into walls, etc. if not released back into the wild, they will die. different types of tanks have been tried with no success. every so often if one gets caught in fisherman's nets, they will keep it for a while to study it, see if it will get used to a tank and end up releasing it.

  3. they're big, scary, don't do well in captivity, and eat a lot more of a variety than they can get at seaworld

  4. they are much much too large to be held in captivity and a ton of food to feed them.

  5. The Great White Shark cannot be successfully kept in captivity.  They typically refuse to eat and die.  Several aquariums including SeaWorld have housed Great White Sharks for short periods of time.  In most cases they were re-released into the wild because they were dying in captivity.  This is also a very difficult shark to capture and manage in an aquarium.
