Why don't they just change motorsports category to Nascar category,?

2 years ago when I started on Y/A there was only a motorsport catagory,then they changed it to what it is today.

Nascar is not a host for motocross, which is a motorsport.

yes I know but this IS the NASCAR section for NASCAR fans. There are other motorsports categories with plenty of posts. If it bothers you so much maybe you should just stay away from the sports section.

Keep in mind, this IS the American Yahoo! Answers site. I just wen to the UK site, and browsed over to the motorsport section, and I'll tell you, there are as many Formula1 questions there as there are NASCAR questions here.

Yep there are other motorsports, and you are welcome to go to any other catagory you choose.  You don't have to post on NASCAR.
