Why don't they show Mexico on the Olympics? ?

I am not Mexican but my mom wanted to know why they didn't show Mexico performing the Olympics. Specially in the woman's diving. They did so good!!!

Actually they showed alot ofthem in the synchrnised womens diving- 'cause australia was in it (well they did over here anyways.)

7's coverage is not based on what is interesting or on what is good- but on australian possible success. (which is almost always not the stuff you want to watch)

no they dont only show the "big" "top" nations. they barely showed russia or america in the team gymnastics only china- mainly 'cause thats the host nation i think. whats wrong is that they dont show much of the specialised sports- gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, fencing, synchronized swimming, archery etc.. so we dont get to see the different countries- because really, australia doesnt excel in them ... and even if they do, australians are so fixated on the buff athletics, boxing, weightlifting, soccer, basketball and swimming to care about the rest thus the crappy coverage- oh and the ads take up way too much time.

I saw Mexico compete in the women's duet synchronized swimming competition!  It was pretty cool :)  But the Olympics is about watching the US compete since we're in the US...maybe we just didn't get grouped together with Mexico so there was less footage of them.

Don't worry.  Yesterday, I was watching the women's olympics and there were Mexican performers.  Yay Mexico!

i know same here... but im mexican i i know a little why... ecause mexico has been watching the news about the natural disasters, and riots in china infact mexico wanted to protest by not even competeing

thats the thing with the american broadcast stations. all they show is the usa. you ever notice the only medal ceremony they show is when the usa wins gold

They've hardly shown any diving, so bringing a specific country into the argument doesn't really matter.
