Why don't they tell deaths in Afghanistan, and wounded in Germany.?

We know 4000 deaths in Iraq, what about Afaganstan and the wounded soldiers that die in Germany.

We are not told because the government does not want the civilian population to know just how bad things are, just the same as they will not allow pictures to be taken of the coffins containing the bodies of the returning soldiers.
