Question:

Why don't things ever work out?

Every time I get excited about something or make plans to do something, it falls through somehow? And in the back of my mind I just know I'm going to get disappointed. Is it just me or does this happen to everyone. I'm so sick of it. I've been looking forward to something all week. It's all I've been thinking about. I packed my clothes, got a babysitter, and I'm all set to go. OF COURSE, I get a text saying "oh do you think we can postpone?" Why?!! Why?!! Why?!! It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME! I want to bawl my eyes out, hide in my bedroom, and not come out.

  1. Your conditioned defensive ego beliefs (early experiences with others who perpetually disappointed you) control your perceptions, feelings, thoughts and reactions.

Additionally, the field of Reality mirrors the contents of consciousness, especially the beliefs stored at the sub-conscious.

There are methods for reversing this.

  2. Good things take effort.  In most cases, it means planning, dealing with contingencies, mitigating risks, etc.

And perhaps because I do all those things, most things work out in my life.

Also, life is what we make of it, so don't worry about the small stuff, enjoy lemonade if you are unexpectedly handed a lemon.

  3. Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans.

  4. because you know it will happen behind your mind and create your own disappointment.

perhaps even fate wants you to be a lonely ****-up in life....perhaps you deserve to be lonely....OR maybe it's a learning curve....

    karma in action......

  5. Sometimes life really sucks.

You can always move to Portales NM and start over

  6. This happens to me at times, but I stop and think of all the things I do constantly, which work out fine, and take occasional disappointments as just part of life.

  7. i dont know what to say----its just that i dont know really.

  8. We are indeed living in what we may call the age of circumstances (since God at present is not interfering or doing something specific against  the negatives of life--) , & that very few of us can say or do

IF YOU believe in the Bible  , this is provided as the overall situation that proves true no matter what kind of situations we are in:

(Ecclesiastes 9:11) “11 I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.”

--Sometimes also many people act very much as recorded as signifant and specific as follows to make living difficult, it reads like a newspaper for our time.

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) “3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.”

    Just some food for thought!

  9. Some people cant be counted on to pull through for you.  It's okay you'll learn not to completely get excited the next time this person wants to go out.  With patience, you realize that some things really do work out but not everything does.

  10. 1. Unfortunate coincidence

    2. Try to focus on the things that are going your way

    3. Don't dwell and just move on

    4. It happens to all of us

    5. Stay positive no matter how hard it is because things will definitely get better, trust me.

  11. It will never work out unless you stop to create expectations... It is easy ..if plans does not come true do not create them...You may notice that the best things ever came to your life is not planed and is not expected.Right? Check it out.

  12. Go and see some poor children.Talk to them.See if you can do something for them.Continue to help them.See if this works out or not.You will not care so much for trivial pleasures afterwords.
