Why don't we all get together?

I seen a lot of people in this section on small business that are wanting to start a small business, or looking for a good site, people that need help and so on. All of us have our own areas that we are good at and we have our different ideas. So why dun we all get together somewhere and brainstorm together and start the business together. What do you guys think? I think its fun. ^_^

Starting a business requires a significant investment in time, energy and resources - and often times more than a little money. Collaborating with friends or relatives is diffcult enough. I wouldn't even consider such a serious endeavor with people one doesn't know at all.

As you can see by the previous answers, most people are NOT entrepreneurs, especially the ones that say business is not supposed to be fun! (LOL)

I think you might be fishing off the wrong pier here.  

There are some excellent social networking sites out there, that do exactly what you're talking about and nearly all the members are already business owners, or those that are really serious about starting a business, they're just looking for the right "fit".  I think that's the way to go.

I am a member of many, many groups on Facebook that all network together and we have a lot of fun doing it!  My businesses have grown as a result of these groups.
