Why dont the states cut back on the drunk drivers in the US. They seem to think that increasing the jail time or fines will do the job, but I think if they would make a law that required everyone entering a bar to turn their lic. over to the bartender and take a quick breath alizer test to get it back would save many lives. The answer is to stop it before it happens not after they get stopped or wreck. Most people dont understand they are to drunk to drive once they start drinking. We have bars on every corner in this country the only reason to go to them is to drink, so you will drink and get behind a wheel. Maybe instead of making mirrors that are remote in the new cars put in a breath alizer in all new cars. They arent that high in price. The truth is the Gov. dont want to stop DWI or they would and without anyone having to go to jail. What do you think?

  1. I think your wrong.

Placing a breath instrument in a car (which is being done for DUI violators - called BAIDS) does not guarantee who blows into it.  Have you ever heard of a designated driver and the term personal responsibility??

The government will not stop (physically) people from driving drunk - people and common sense do.  I do not buy your argument that people are not in control when they drink - if they are - they should not drink to begin with and probably shouldn't drive either.
