And let them know that if they use Nuclear weapons on other European countries, we will send a nuclear missle to Moscow! These guys are afraid of us. And they would never win a war against the USA. Not even them and China put together. Our Mother Country Great Britain would also be there to help us as they always are. The US and the UK combined could stop China and Russia easily if it was to come down to a nuclear war. I personally think that they are stupid for threatening Poland. Threatening to use Nukes on a bunch of innocent people is very unwise. I think we should call their bluff, if not call it and raise them 50!

I have to assume you are very young. You speak of using nuclear weapons as if it is no big thing. Before I get to my answer I have to wonder if you have any idea of what nuclear war means. Do you think a couple nukes and its over? Have you considered the millions upon millions of people that would die? And those left would have a life that would be hard to comprehend.

Having said that, what do you think the US, currently can do? Our military is stretched so thin that there isn't any capacity to engage in a new ground conflict. Although I don't believe diplomacy works very often, we have to continue putting the pressure on Russia via International Isolation. They have to see the world is not their door mat and they will suffer monetarily. I agree the comment to Poland was crazy but don't forget who you are dealing with. Ultimately the world (at least Europe and the US) most come together to prevent a war that no one would win.

The question is a good one. Based on NATO end EU treaties, one would assume that were Russia to attack, using nuclear weapons, the EU and NATO territories would be forced to respond, in kind where possible. Russia would theoretically face complete annihilation.

However, consider that fact, and realise that responding in kind would only result in everyone facing annihilation. Therefore it seems more likely that as Poland is just one country (don't worry, I know Poles are people too), the rest of the world would actually just sit back and watch, hoping Russia didnt pull the same trick twice. Therefore the world should just wise up and realise that no way will Russia ever use nuclear weapons in an act of aggression. If they threatened to cut all oil exports into Europe, that would be a threat people should take seriously. If you know someone is bluffing, then they've lost any power they ever had, and people should just realise that until Russia invents a 100% reliable anti-nuke defence, then they'll just sit and shout.

Russia has nothing to do with the conflict in Georgia. Georgia attacked Ossetia with armed forces and started killing civilians and peacekeepers. Russia had to defend Ossetians civilians. Any country would do the same Russia did.

Georgia cannot live with its neigbor peacfully that is the problem. I called Ossetia neigbor because people in Georgia and Ossetia have absolutely different languages and cultures. There is nothing that unites them and make of them one country or one people.

If 99% of people in the republic want to get separated from Georgia they should be allowed to do so. Especially after Georgians started to kill civilians the second time. The first time it happened in 1992. Back then Boris Yeltsin sent troops to South Ossetia to calm down Georgians the same way Putin has done now. No one was criticizing Yeltsin for that in the West.

This conflict is 16 years old. Nothing new exept the fact that Georgia is the US ally now.

Georgia got its independence from USSR in 1992 after Boris Yeltsin signed an agreement between Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia for these 3 countries to become independent from each other and all the other former soviet republics including Georgia. After that Georgia became independent. South Ossetia, North Ossetia and Abkhazia wanted their independence from Georgia too. Georgia did not want that. That was when the conflict began.

What I said is the pure facts. Anything beyond this is just propoganda and lie in order to confront Russians and Americans.

Now to your question. If you get tough on Russians they will hit you back. They do not need any other country (China etc) to help them in doing this. If you will only touch them they will fight to the end. And the end will become the end for all of us.
