  1. For the same reason we don't have a car that runs on pee. Because that makes a bad fuel.

  2. Because there are certain components needed to make a car run. We, as enviromentally concerned citizens, should take all measures to figure out another way to make our cars run without hurting our enviroment. Hybrid cars are a good example as well as supporting alternitive fuel ideas and public transportation

  3. it would turn the sky yellow

  4. Because the smell of burnt highlighter ink would make you nauseous and imagine how bad neon yellow, blue, or purple skies would look.

  5. I don't know the chemical formula for highlighter ink, but if it's a hydrocarbon (chances are it is), you probably can already run at least a mixture in the car in your driveway right now.  Might make cute little pink puffs out your tailpipe as you accelerate to and from office depot everyday to replenish your supply.  I think i'd use bright green myself.  You know...to make me look more eco-friendly.

  6. hahahaah i love how seriously you people took this question

  7. Figure this. How much does 1 hyliter cost? How many hyliters would you have to squeeze out to fill a gas tank? What color runs best? Best brand? And how horrible would the car run?

What about those stinking dry-erase markers? Rubbing alcohol? Hydrogen peroxide?

All equal less gas mileage and poor performance.

I really feel sorry for people who have never known the pleasures of a high performance American muscle car. How deprived you are.

  8. Because then there'd be a lot of neon yellow smog and everyone would be constantly buzzed.

  9. We probably do. But seeing as a single highlighter cost as much as half a gallon of fuel and that many pigments are environmentally unsafe - What would be the point?

  10. Because, the engine requires a certain amount of torque to be output by the engine in order to move. The substances in ink are so low in usable energy (Mostly water and specialized pigments), that they would not produce the energy needed to produce the needed force to move a car.
