Why don't we have more dsl providers in small town areas in arkansas?

it seems that dsl is hard to find in arkansas if you live in a small town. you don't have much of a choice and can't get any info of dsl service in your area. at least i can't.

Probably has to do with the monopoly of Century tel!  It is the ONLY dsl we can get where we live in Arkansas.  We can't even get cable with Cox.  My sister can't get any dsl either.  They say they are working on it, but how long will that take?!  Even the dial up is limited to a few companies where I live.  It's crazy!  Good luck finding what you want.
