  1. its too expensive. the governments all about money money money

  2. Most all of the energy that falls on the earth is captured by plants. In the process the plants take in CO2 and give us the O2 and it keeps the C. When the leaves die they are washed down the river to the delta where it deteriorates into Fossil Fuels.

  3. Why is it the governments fault? If you think solar power is so great, buy some panels and use it.

  4. Solar is only good as a supplement in clear sunny areas.  The sun doesn't shine day and night; and it's angle of incidence isn't optimum for most of the earth, most of the year.

I think it was estimated that about a third of California would need to be covered with solar cells to provide power just for the San Francisco area.  Also, it takes a lot of power to make the cells and assemble the units.  That must be compensated before anything is gained.

  5. It's too expensive and doesn't produce enough power.  Pretty simple.

plus, it's not the government it is private power companies.

  6. To much tax on fuel and not everyone has alot of sun

  7. The profit is not there in the solar power.  Governments only want to follow the latest trend and the money that follows the trend.

  8. Because as far as land use goes, acre for acre, coal uses a fraction of the land solar would.  Plain and simple.
