I just don't find them attractive.  But of course, little attention is probably given to their aesthetics, since they aren't meant to be seen.  Maybe that is their appeal for you....

Because jocks are often very rude and obnoxious, not all, but many. I played on a mostly guy's coed soccer team and trust me, it was true. But there were some that were definitly very nice.
