Why don't women like that word?

I was /not trying to start a debate here or anything/ interested why do women hate the C*** word so much? (The one that rhymes with Punt)

Every girl I know hates that term..Why?

I personally wouldn't be too bothered if someone called me a d**k.

By itself the word is meaningless. But for me it equals to words Bit*h and portrays me as nothing more than a walking female sexual organ. I'm more than that and I'd prefer others to recognize it.

I believe it emphasizes the very immaturity that we are so good at dishing out. I would say they are offended by the simplicity of how vulgar this word is. Plus, they are so used to us calling them bi*ches, they expect it, and when we use c*nt in place of bi*ch, then we force them to think of something different as well. hehe.

I don't understand it either.  It's just a word, like all the others, but for most people it's THE WORD to end all words.

I'm actually more offended by the reaction other people have to the word than by the word itself.  What does it say about our feelings toward women when the most vile insult we can think of is a name for a female body part?
