Why don't you leave Bristol alone?

I mean it. She is just a regular high school girl, not a celebrity, and not a political figure. She just made a mistake and doesn't deserve the bad names she is getting called here. If you want to talk about teen pregnancy, or abortion, or s*x ed; that's fine, because those are all legit political issues. But leave Bristol out of it. And leave her boyfriend out of it too.

For the record, I support Obama in this election. I support abortion and s*x ed, and I am generally against teen pregnancy but I realize it doesn't have to be all bad if there are adequate social safety nets and education opportunities.

Obama is losing and not getting the bounce in the polls in a way that he wanted after the DNC Denver Party.

         He needs to inform the country that he is better at raising a 17 year old girl than Sarah was by sicking his attack dogs after Bristol in every liberal news media that will print the story.

Real issues will be Obama's un doing so all he has left is to attack a 17 year old girl.

Just a note Duffman, Sarah didn't fire her sisters ex. I'm sure she wanted him fired after he tasered his step son showed up to work drunk on more than once and often entertained know drug dealers at his home. The flap is about her asking for the resignation of his boss because he wouldn't fire him.

And I agree with Barack Obama when he said that the candidates' families should be off-limits.

I do think that Bristol (WHAT IDIOT NAMES HIS/HER KID BRISTOL???) Palin has been shoved into the spotlight by her attention-seeking mother.  Which is unfortunate.  This should've been handled within the family, NOT put on the front page of every newspaper in America.  Really, it's not front-page news.

I agree with your views, and I appreciate your level-headed, reasonable outlook and approach.

s*x-ed and access to birth control can go a long way toward preventing teen pregnancies.  Abstinence doesn't work.  I think a reality-check on teenage sexuality is long overdue, and it's way past time that dialogue went public.

Other than a few stupid questions, I haven't seen too many really nasty remarks about Bristol herself...I have seen more remarks about Palin's response to the pregnancy and hypocritical views on abstinence

However the trooper was fired because in his divorce proceedings it was discovered that he had abused his children.

Any police department in the United States will fire a police officer if he has a histroy of abusing children.

The firing of the trooper turned out to be a non issue so now the radical extreme left is desperate to discredit Sarah Palin.
