Why don't you want to save the polar bears??

Question

Do you know that right now a baby polar bear is crying for its mother? The mom polar bear is risking her life on a disappearing ice flow to feed her baby. Why don't you do something? The co2 molecules blasting out of your tailpipe are like bullets into the heart of the polar bear. Please give now to the fund to stop global warming through carbon reduction. oh uh wait a minute, carbon taxes are mandatory, why am I wasting my time trying to sell this line of bs..um whatever, save the planet; have a nice day. Bye.

Global warming is all natural. So tell me tree huggers, if you're so smart, do you actually think the earth is supposed to have the exact same weather patterns for billions and billions of years? It's all natural change. Enough of the paranoia please.

that is what we use in our house every time a light is left on...we say to the kids..."save the polar bears..." they shut the light off every time....we don't drive and we get everything pre consumed, preloved, or used whatever way you want to view it.....BUT, i think it will take more than that....i mean...why the heck do we even have this false light...or roads etc....we have to ...........................................  to save the planet...i will continue to do what i do out of not wanting blood on my hands, but overall.....it will take alot more and i am not telling what that is.....you could be a CIA agent.....are you?

If every vehicle in the U.S. was to shut off their engines there still would be no overall appreciable effect on polar bear survival!  

Animals by the tens of millions have come and gone on earth.  I suppose that during one of the many thousands of previous global warmings that have taken place on earth - animals either adapt and survive or perish!

Save them from what?  They have multiplied in population five times in fifty years....  I visited Sea World in San Diego and I saw polar bears...  Wonder how they are surviving in San Diego?

Let me explain something to you, sir.  The environment is important because they made a cartoon about helping Mother Earth called "Captain Planet." Sure, the Brazilian kid got the crappy ring for the power of "heart," but the important message from that cartoon, and they wouldn't make it if it wasn't important,  is that we should fight the forces of evil (pollution) at every possible moment.  And speaking  as someone  who has tamed Bjarn for my level 15 NE Hunter, I happen to be very fond of polar bears.  STOP KILLING GAEA!

Tell me where this baby bear is, and I will go and save it.  I doubt, however, you can find one so I won't hold my breath.  Polar bear populations are actually increasing, so I'm pretty sure you don't know what you are talking about.

Ok I am totally into saving the polar bears because I run a non-profit org. supported by PBI (Polar bears international)  But your slightly wrong... mother bears dont ever leave the babies behind unless if it is to save a different cub that has a better chance of survival. They rely on there fat as food for them and their babies untell they cubs are old enough to hunt with them. Pleas don't go around saying uneducated c**p about the polar bears dier situation... try doing a little research.

You can be rest assured the polar bare population is doing just fine.  As a matter of fact it is thriving.

Fears that two-thirds of the world's polar bears will die off in the next 50 years are overblown, says Mitchell ­Taylor, the Government of Nunavut's director of wildlife research.

"I think it's naïve and presumptuous," Taylor said of the report, released by U.S. Geological Survey on Friday, which warns that many of the world's polar bears will die as sea ice vanishes due to a warming climate.

"As the sea ice goes, so go the polar bears," said Steve Amstrup, who led the study.

But Taylor says that's not the case. He points to Davis Strait, one of the southern-most roaming grounds of polar bears. According to the USGS, Davis Strait ought to be among the first places where polar bears will starve due to shrinking seasonal sea ice, which scientists say will deprive the bears of a vital platform to hunt seals.

Yet "Davis Strait is crawling with polar bears," Taylor said. "It's not safe to camp there. They're fat. The mothers have cubs. The cubs are in good shape."

You'd be surprised at the number of ANTI global warming sites out there, they all have solid scientific evidence too, unlike those that say global warming is happening.

It all depends on a bunch of unknowns, such as if the cloud cover will trap heat in, or keep it out?

As some sea ice melts, even more is freezing! The levels of ice towards the CENTER of the poles has actually increased more then the overall ice has decreased!!!

To add to this, water is the one exception to the law that states almost all mater contracts as it cools and expands as it is heated. So this means that as water, or salt water in this case, turns into ice, it EXPANDS. Because it expands there is more of it, displacing more water, causing the sea levels to rise! Yet somehow the media has seemed to avoid discussing this point..........

I am an animal lover, and also a realist. As much as I love the polar bears and the walrus (two of my favorite animals), perhaps mother Earth is telling them it is their time to go. The Earth has always had a cycle, and as the cycle continues, species will come and go. It is different if humans are directly responsible for endangerment (like over-fishing, poaching, deforestation); when the Earth itself is causing the habitat destruction, well, we can't stop the cycle from doing what it has always done.
