Why dont Amercians stop their government from killing inocent people all around the world ?

Why do the people of America allow their government to brain wash them into believing that it is the duty of every american to go and fight evil. Firstly I believe that you should be tackling the evil in your own dirty home. Secondly WAR is not a game so why do you people think it is and that you have to win. Did you ever really notice that the only war that america has ever one was the american civil war ? USA & the allies won ww2, USA 0 korea 1, USA 0 Vietnam 1, USA 0 Somalia 1, USA 0 Taliban 0, USA 0 Iraq 0. And now you are trying to win another losers medal in Georgia. Dont you guys get it ? We hate USA , not because americans are bad but because you allow your government to show you as war mongers, control freaks and self appointed law enforcers. The world will be a better place when your rotten economy finally collapses.

They did stop a government killing innocent people.. they stopped Saddam's Bath party from carrying on killing innocent Iraqi and Kurdish people. Should they have stood back and let Saddam carry on murdering innocent people like Hitler in Germany or Pohl Pott in Cambodia?

1st of all you should know that not all Americans are not aware of these facts. there are alot that already know and are fighting it.

the main reason for all what you mentioned is that the government controls the media and everything when it comes to people. its not giving them knowledge they need.

edit: after reading the previous answers, there is another facts, that A LOT of times americans are so close minded and so full of themselves they think they are the only ppl that are civilized,not knowing the fact that step one in being civilized is to respect other cultures and NOT look down at them. and step two is to listen to other opinions without cursing at them.

It's because of the USA state policy dominated mostly by the millionaire businessmen. I've seen Americans to protest few state-policies sometimes but those were very rare. It's fact that whoever comes as their Head of State, the policy of the USA makes him/her forced to do so. Being defeated in any war doesn't make them shy or loser-----since they were able to sell arms & ammunition to those country before! Look at the incidence of Georgia where the incidents are between Russia & Georgia-----but this self-declared international police, the USA loves to poke their nose even there! Since Russia has enough strength, USA would try to sell arms to Georgia.

We're facing the same problem with our country because (20/30 years before) a huge...HUGE storage of natural gases, oils, coals & heavy-waters are discovered here. Obviously USA's greedy eyes would fall upon us; and it happened! We are facing an unstable govt. for the last 2/3 decades! It would continue till the USA gets favorite people (govt.). Otherwise they would prefer a military govt.

Differences in opinions around the world breed hate; America has certain faults and certain virtues just like any other country in the world. We all 'believe' what the press or our own country says about 'evil' in the world and never take the time to find out the real truth.

'We' are brainwashed by the American Government apparently, while you seem to be brainwashed by the 'haters' of the American Government.

Perhaps we all need to sit down and actually understand each other before making statements like yours.

I am British and I live in America - you mention how everyone hates America, and how bad the government are - but you neglect to mention all the good America does in the world - the humanitarian aid, the billions of dollars spent to help other countries fight famine, build their countries etc.

People are the same all over the world...the sooner we all realize that the better.
