  1. its enough to support women's equal rights! there is a lot of work there, especially for a group of women who have little power.

men have had power for a long time, they should be supporting both (I dont know any that does). Its the right thing to do!

in asia and south america there has been respected and loved female leaders. but in america if a women wants to be president the men accuse them of playing the gender card????!!!!! Or god forbid if a non white or only half white man wants to be president he is a terrorist and and playing the race card?

  2. Your answer is in your definition of the "group" considered.

"Why don't MOST feminist support both gender like MOST men activist"

You are taking one group "feminists" interested in equal rights for women by definition, and comparing them to "male activists" who by definition would be able to be active for many causes, including women's rights.

If you asked, why don't most men who work for men's rights (masculinists) support both genders, like female ACTIVISTS, you would come to the same conclusion.

By defining the terms differently for men and women, you have set the answer that you want to find.  So, in a way, this is a trick question.

IE.  You want to see a certain thing in your answers so you use unequal group definitions to receive answers that fit your pre-conceived notion.

  3. Since when do male activists support women? Not based on the woman-hating male "activist" web sites-not based on even the "moderate" male and father's rights web sites-they seem pretty focused on men and men's rights and focused on bashing women in general and feminists in particular:

    http://www.angryharry.com/esEqualityNotA...

    http://www.americanwomensuck.com/

Quite a few feminists are men and do support both genders-obviously.

  4. Belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes.  The movement organized around this belief. This is the definition of feminism in the American Heritage Dictionary.  The definition for feminist is; A person whose beliefs and behavior are based on feminism.  Most of the feminist I know care about both genders just as the male activist do.  All the feminist I know show love to men... just not the unworthy gynophobe who mocks, harasses or abuses them or other women for the mere fact that they are women.

  5. "Like most men activist do?"  What male activists do YOU know?

The "men's rights" people who post here are generally bitter, full of hatred, and only seem to read slanted, fringe, right wing websites as a source of information.

"Show any love, per se to men?"  Unlike most "men's rights" "activists" the majority of (women) feminists have successful and loving relationships with their husbands, sons and fathers.

  6. They don't show love to us. Unless you count "taking apart our bodies piece by piece in a song" to be love. Or chasing us around like--------- dogs to be love.

Do you think that civil rights leaders should fight for the rights of white people too.

  7. What about men who are feminists?

    I'm a male activist and a feminist.

Some people seem to need to go thru a stage where they only value their "in group" (whatever that group may be). Some stay stuck there. Others grow out of it.

  8. They don't have to.  They have laws, corporations, jobs, media, etc behind them.

Humans get quite greedy when it comes to power.

  9. Seriously, I DO NOT understand this "man hater" stereotype. I have yet to meet a feminist who hates men or believes in female superiority. But people throw that stereotype around all the time.

  10. i think you're speaking very stereotypically. where's your proof that this statement is even accurate?

what do you mean by show any love?

  11. how can you support something you envy so much.

  12. The definition of feminism is "The movement aimed at equal rights for women" - nowhere in it is mentioned about supporting both the genders. :-D

  13. I think most really do.  But it is funny, around here they seem very one sided.  Like they have tunnel vision or something.

  14. They don't even know what their own gender is.

How do you expect them to keep their head on straight.

    Mrs. Mann

  15. Could you please support your statement that MOST men's activists support both genders? 'Cause I've yet to observe that, and I've been to MOST MRA websites out there. Could you even provide me with ONE that supports women? Thanks in advance.
