Why dont a lot of girls WAIT to have s*x?

I just wanna know why a lot of teen girls don't wait for the person that they love or until they are married. They just do it!

What's up with these girls today?

lots of women choose not to get married these days.

perhaps they are young and think the guy they are with is special - they dont know no different until they grow up.

i think young guys really want it so they pressure girls too

p.s waiting until married --> could never happen. Or the alternative, you could get married and then find out that the s*x is terrible.... so good luck, and hopefully - good pickings!

well. this is an easy question. alot of girls do it just for fun. i know alot of them. there's so much pressure and everything it's just hard not to. but me for example have been going out with my bf for a little more than year and known him for a long time. if you go out with someone that long it's just so hard not to, i mean come ooon. why not haha. just be careful. :)

because our hormones are going crazy!! me i can't stop thinking about s*x, wondering how it feels, will I like it?, will I be good at it?, and pressure (it's everywhere at school, on t.v., friends, and everywhere)!!

But I am going to wait,even through my body screams for me to do it, but my brain and common sense says no!!!

well, for me I'm 19 and I'm still a virgin...And honestly people that I meet often are impressed that I am....of course I am waiting for that special someone...

And sometimes it's hard to control those urges and such, so I have two reasons why.

One is most teens think if they have s*x with their boyfriend or whoever, that they'll be loved and feel loved...

Another reason, which I often think, is that they are sulty...

Most girls think that they are all that, and are s****....>_>

Thinking that they can get what ever they want, including s*x...and no offense to anyone else, I'm just saying that's the kind of people I've seen in the past three years, and honestly...it's very digesting and degrading...

personally, i think it's the parent's fault for not monitoring the teens all day everyday. Where I live I know some parents whose 13 and 14 year old teens are out in the apartment complex at 3 and 4 am. There is NO NEED for a teen to be out that late. I am 18 and am hardly ever outside at that time, there is nothing to do, but get into trouble.

So, while these kids are outside or at friends houses, they experiment.

although rare, i am 18 and waited that long to lose it, to someone i thought deserved it. Not some random 14 year old boy in my science class.

Other than that, I don't know why they do it, it hurts in the beginning, and once you think about it. s*x is gross.

i'm 17 and i vowed to myself that i will wait until i get married and if a guy isnt down with that then he clearly doesnt respect me enough to wait for me. i believe that alot of girls nowadays are looking to feel loved, and they believe that if a guy will have s*x with them then it equals love, which is completely false. no way whatsoever should anyone want to pursue an action that gives them false feelings.

teenage girls think they are grown, they think they are able to handle adult situations and then when the moment of truths comes when the test comes back positive, they scream and freak out as if they never knew there was a chance it could happen. just shows their level of maturity. pretty sad and old.

Ok, I'm 27, but I do remember being a teenager.  Do you know s*x = babies?  Yes.  Do you know s*x = diseases?  Yes.  But science has proven that at that age your brain is not capable of actually PROCESSING that info (your brain is not even fully developed until age 25)!!  Basically, your hormones are a lot stronger than that.

I waited...and I got married to an awesome hubby last year who waited too, and we're unbelievably happy together, partly because we've only been with each other.

but i had a friend in middle school that she lost it at 13 and she did it because she had a boyfriend in highschool and she wanted to fit in.. and doing it with her boyfriend would show him that seh wans'nt and ammature 13 year old girl and that she really loved him which was not true

There's a lot of pressure nowadays for girls to have s*x at an early age. As a current highschooler, I have to say that high school boys are very forward about it, and for a lot of girls, they find that to be socially accepted they have to have s*x. No one gets shocked anymore if you say that you have had s*x. It's more the other way around. I also know a lot of high school girls believe that they are in love with their boyfriend, so they give it up. It's sooo hard to say no sometimes.
