Why dont all my freinds show up on my mobile messenger?

I just got a strobe phone with yahoo in in but when I log in not all my freinds show up I can have like 20 friends online but 3 or 4 is all that show up HELP

In Yahoo Messenger, a special "group" is set up for Mobile Messenger. Login to Messenger on your computer, and make sure that all the contacts you want to see on your phone are in the "Mobile Messenger" group. Then you'll be able to see them.
