Why dont brown people get called black, yet peach people get called white?

  6. Because it is politically incorrect, and if you say that sort of thing you get taken out and shot before a firing squad.

    I never know what to call brown people.  They change their labels every decade, and I can't keep track of it any more.  You can't call someone an "African American" for instance if they are a tourist from Kenya.  Or if you happen to be in England, right?  I don't like the phrase "person of color" because I'm a colorful dude myself.  

    I have never called someone a white person either, on the other hand.

    I suppose I really don't refer to someone by the color of their skin unless I need to describe them.  Then I may hazard a guess at their race and say something like, "he's a dark skinned guy... maybe an African American".

    P.S.  I may be white but I'm no peach.
