  1. Most girls are answering "I blush" !!!!

Blushing is so relative ...... Some girls blush when someone look at her eyes and other blush when someone touch her hand and other blush when someone kiss her and other blush when she knows that there is someone around.

Decreasing or lets say disappearing of blushing is due to the excessive mixing between girls and boys "Ekhtelaat" in the school, college, work, street and everywhere.

One main important reason is the Television and lot of watching and affecting by movies either American or (even now) the Arabic movies.

The female star is standing in front of the male star (nearly) wearing nothing (she probably forget or the director wants so) and they are exchanging love words and many be touches.

how can one expect a girl blushing after seeing these scenes !!!!!

    May Allah forgive us.

  2. I blush all the time! I have really fair skin so it is really obvious when my cheeks go pink. I used to hate it, because my face always shows everything I feel, but I have grown used to it.

I don't think girls actually blush more than they used to, I just think blushing was something all old writers gave to their females, because it is meant to represent innocence, naivety, vulnerability, which was what a girl was meant to be. Now days, we expect women to be stronger so blushing isn't something that is made a big deal of.

Anyway, that is just my guess.

p.s. Scarface - I absolutely love it when a guy opens a door for me or, even less common, kisses my hand. I think that those old manners are so sweet, but I am a very old-fashioned person I guess (even though I am only 16!). I agree though, there are some women who do seem to have a negative reaction to that kind of thing, which I personally have never understood.

  3. 2008,muhanad,internet,satellite,music channels, why to blush ??

they used to blush before in order to get married

now they don't get married , so no need to blush :-)

  4. oh i blush! not only blush. my face can become so red. and when one says to me that i'm blushing, i blush even more!

@ scarface - i think it so nice when a man does open the door. when he behaves like a gentleman and treats a woman like a lady.

call me oldfashioned, but that's the way i feel.

@ osama s  - i know that many girls will ask why. and because of these girls men stop to behave like gentlemen. maybe they want so much to give an impression of independent and strong women who can handle everything on their own without help of anyone. but in the end it is their loss (and unfortunately the loss of us who think differently). to be a strong woman doesn't mean to deal with everything that comes your way alone (btw i'm not speaking about opening the door), but also in asking for help when you really need it. you may feel so crushed from the inside and desperately needing someone to help you, but you will find no one, because everyone will think that you don't need any kind of help - you are ''strong'' enough.

  5. Which girl DOESN'T BLUSH???

  6. Same reason they don't get their hands kissed by guys anymore either.

I guess with girls it all started with women's lib, and now see the whole thing as being too "girly" i guess.

Now guys cant' even open doors for girls nowadays without a "why did you do that?" reponse.

    my opinion..

  7. Practical strong personality.

  8. I guess it depends on the upbringing and the character.  If a girl is brought up in a closed society that doesn't mix with men and if she is shy by nature, she will blush when she meets a man or when she sees any indecency. If she attended a mixed school and if she's not shy by nature, then she sure won't blush easily.  Moreover, today's movies expose everything and let the girl see and hear things that girls from her mother and grandmother's generations were not allow to see or hear before marriage. That's why they used to blush a lot. You might even go as far as saying that if a girl flushes today, she'd be weird.

  9. i like my girl to blush, its something pretty feminine,,

  10. i do ....... i blush easily ...

oh..i thought that's sth not good ,but thank God u gave me hope :)

    hope i'm not a weirdo

  11. not all the girls .. i blush

  12. idk girls are tired of being the little cute angels always having to giggle, blush, cook we want to be daredevils =)

  13. Blush? i don't just show a little extra pinkness on me cheek area i go so red if i was to stand at the side of a road i would stop cars cos they would think i was a red light lol.  I hate it i find it really embarrassing i can't control it at all and i become really conscious of becoming red and then i worry and go more red.

  14. they still blush.

any decent girl when feels attraction toward someone, she will blush when she feels him trying to approach her and cherich her. it doesnt mean to be clumsy or not being able to respond. but she will give a rose smile compined with smiley eyes.

such a look gives a life time motivation

afterall it is a matter of what kind of girls we focus our attention on.

  15. I blush. I blushed so much when I first got to Egypt, I got so much attention and I wasn't used to it, lol I'm still not used to it, and I would blush a lot but that made matters even worse, they thought I was encouraging them and not that they are just embarasssing me.

I love it when guys open doors for me and pull out chairs and things like that. I disagree with the notion that Western women in general find chiverous things like this offensive. I think most Western women like and expect men to open doors for them. It's just good manners in my opinion, but to be perfectly fair though, in the US, I was treated differently than most women because of my hijab. Men were always much more polite, chiverous and protective of women who wear hijab, in my experience at least, without ever disrespecting our intellect or ability to get things done.

It's too bad you guys have gotten these kinds of responses when you were just being gentlemen. To anyone in the past or future who has or will ever open a door for me, Thank you. :)

  16. Well, it is not just the girls

Everyone now is not ashamed of anything wrong and i think that because we left the religion.

Iam talking here about the real religion (either islam or christianity) not the stupid habits we inherited from our parents

  17. i know some who still do..

  18. feminist movements and women's lib

  19. This girl definitely blushes and giggles all the time. :-)

Generally, I know that western or westernized men perceive this behavior as more childish and as a  result are turned off (unless they are from an old-fashioned country or their parents are from an old-fashioned country).  And I think  because these days, there are gender equality movements and other societal issues that may have subconsciously effected girls in their development.

  20. disagree

there still some girls do blush

but in general 50% of total population do get blush it was 40% girls blush 10% boys

i suppose its now the same 50% of population get blush 40% boys 10% girls

may be some do hate the fact that they get blushed but if they study that they might get happy of being blushed

  21. i blush alllll the time!!,...but thats probably, cuz im still young

    :)
