Why dont golfers ever have...?

Why dover have tattoos? I know that they all wear slohting that covers them, but it seems like if a baseball player has his jersey on, you still would sometime see his tattoo. It seems all kinds of young women nowdays have tattoos, but not many on the LPGA Tour do. Does anyone know if any golfers on that tour have "real" tattoos? I know paula creamer has fake ones that she likes to wear, but do she have real ones? Do any PGA players have them as well? If they do, who has one, and if you know what it is, what is it?

who cares...they ave a sense of self pride, and why do they need one...they are golfers

i know a few women on the lpga have lower back tattoos. i dont know names since i dont watch much lpga.  there are also some senior tour players that have some on their forearms. they are mostly like old army /navy tattoos of eagles and ships and what not. i think gary player has one on his outer bicep, and davis love the third too.  i think i saw his on american choppers on the discovery channel when he was on it.  im sure there are more but the pga does have a strong dress code of pants and shirts that cover your chest and arms so thats why you dont see most of them

Tatoos have always been associated with a lower class of losers. The seamen were the first to submit to that tortuous process. Now we have teen agers, who don't know any better with parents who care even less, that cover parts of themselves with  imbedded ink.  The majority of golfers belong to a higher strata than that.

Golf is a respectable course that has always been played by upper class men/women. They have always worn fine clothes, they used to wear suits and knickers even.

It's a gentlemen's sport, and how many gentlemen do you know that are tattoo'd up like lil'wayne?

having tattoos has nothing to do with being or not being respectable. i work in a bank and have tats as well as gauged earing and a labret piercing..  i am sure golfer have tats as well as piercings. they are usually clothed with polos and slacks at all times while on the course so you don't see a whole lot of skin.  i know that davis love III drives harleys and also had a bike custom made by orange county choppers.  he doesn't look the type but apparenty looks are decieving.

Because golf is a respectable sport.  If golfers don't want to look like sideshow freaks or carnival workers.
