It has nothing to do with whether an adoptee is happy or not.  I don't respect you because you ridicule others pain and tell lies.

At this point, I don't even believe you are an adoptee.

I think you're just a bored cyberbully who is looking for some fun.

And for someone who claims to be so happy, you don't really seem to know how to play well with others.

I'm not an adoptee.. but I have gotten very little respect on here...

OH my!! 3 thumbs up and no down so far ROTFLOL.. I better change that!! LOL.. no really, I would like to add that I agree with you.. everyone has valid opinions, and what you are referring to as happy adoptees DON'T get much respect here..

i am a happy adoptee and i get respect from many of the regulars here. they have never condemned me or shunned me because my experience with adoption was good.

i had a wonderful life, i met my bios, and i respect the opinions, experiences and voices of everyone here.

just because i had a great experience does not take away from anyone else that didnt. they deserve to be heard too, not just those of us that are 'success' stories.

adoption does work sometimes, but other times it is a disaster and the adoptee is the one that pays the price.

i have learned alot from this site, sometimes i wish i didnt have as much knowledge as i do. but i do have it, and it is up to me what i do with it. i choose to show respect and compassion for all. i have choosen to join the reform fight. and i have choosen to let others know that adoption is a pit of vipers if it isnt done carefully and researched fully.

respect runs both ways. if you give a little, you will get a little.

I'm good with adoptees whether they're having happy times or sad times.  Happiness is transient.  Some days a person might be and other days a person might not be.  What should that matter?  There's no reason to judge someone for being happy or sad.

ETA:

Please refrain from disrespecting people, such as Sunny, with comments like your second add-on.  You might find that you'll get more respect if you start offering some.

u can only get respect if you give it. Since u very rarely respect the answers of people on here, that is probably why you get the answers you do. just my two cents, if a question bothers u don't answer it, that way u won't be disrespectful.
