Why dont have have only one country in the world called The Earth?

You know, that is a really good question.  If there was only one, there wouldn't be all that power hungriness over other countries or people arguing over which nationality is better......It would just solve so many problems.

well it would be unmanageable for one thing

so to try and make it more manageable it would probably need to run on a federal system

the components of the federal system (states or whatever) would eventually find the tensions caused the disparity of culture, wealth share, productivity etc too great and there would be pressure to break away

but there was once a single entity, called Pangea

Yea and maybe it could rain beer, and women could flock to me, instead of running away. lol   Because everyone has different beliefs and this is not a perfect world.

Way too many varying cultures and opinions at this point for something like that. Nice thought though.
