  1. It's possible that you have a thyroid issue, but it could also be that you're not eating properly FOR YOU. Everyone's body handles calories differently and you should try different things to see how your body reacts. Instead of changing your diet, try eating smaller portions more often throughout the day instead of three regular, larger meals. Drink lots of water and cut out your soft drinks, caffeine and save your sweets for once a day.

Healthy weight loss is also slow--about 1-3 pounds a week. Anything more than that runs the risk of the yo-yo effect and your gaining it back more quickly and then some. Cutting 500 calories a day from your diet is the easiest way to do this.

    Good Luck!

  2. Well it depends what you mean by "occasionally exercise."

If this is just sporadic exercise that happens at random times without any structure, then you won't lose any weight. You should be doing around 40 minutes of cardiovascular exercise every day if you want to lose weight.

As well as having a healthy diet, try and run/cycle for 40 minutes every day, and for about 10 of the 40 minutes you should be working very hard. It doesn't matter if it's all in one block, or 2 blocks of 5 minutes, just ensure that for 10 minutes of the exercise, your heart is pumping to it's full capacity.

  3. Maybe your body is used to your diet try changing it as much as possible.. different foods (healthy if your sieting) and different exercises good luck x

  4. The problem with your question is that if you look in "search for questions" it comes up 30 times every day. I have had some criticism for repeatedly using the same answer, but since I am happy with my answer, and the questions are the same, I don't see the issue with recycling the same answer.

In practise for problems that came up on a regular basis we tended to use patient leaflets to avoid having to repeat ourselves this seemed a sensible use of resources. What follows is thus in effect me information leaflet.

  5. theres nothing wrong with you. whats 2stone? and you should excercise for at least 30 minutes a day or like 5 times a week or else your not being consistent. and watch the calories, fat, carbs, sugar, and sodium your eating before you eat it. the point is to try to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight.

  8. You need a regular exercise programme 30 Min's 5 times a week,

You say that you don't eat like a pig, that doesn't matter it depends on what type of food you eat, i.e. half a pizza, is not being a pig but full of fat

You need to eat a balanced diet.
