Why dont men like apples ?

when a man is offered a ham sandwich he will say great thanks ,but offer him an apple , he will usually refuse , why is this

I don't know many men who like fruit, period.  They mostly prefer meat.  Red meat.

My husband loves apples.  He takes one to eat on the way to work in the morning, and usually has one in his lunch too
