  1. Because working at McDonalds or WAL*MART doesn't pay enough to support such a past time...

  2. in the past the only  legal way bet was on horses. you had to learn to read the form .  it took time .

today with sports betting  it easier to gather info.

to bet on  the races it take a lot of time and effort.

the young don't want to put in the effort

  3. b cuz im more interested in other horse related events than watching COLTS and FILLIES race each other and get killed, do you know that about 400 TBs die on the tracks each year?

now if they gave the horses sometime to grow up and mature then maybe, but if not? then

    NO!!!!!

  4. Racing is an old man's sport. It is promoted and marketed as such. Young people do not have money to bet on the horses and don't understand many things about this old-timer's pasttime. Schools do not educate us on anything about horse-racing and it doesn't have an underground appeal or gangster appeal.

  5. becuase horse raceing is a waste of money

  6. B/c we all dont have that kind of money to go buy a horse

  7. probably because they could be scared or else they haven't grown up very much around horses...... I've been near horses my whole life.... but I never got to go to any rodeos because My family and I were just waaayyyy...... too busy!  That's what you get when you work almost 24/7 except Sundays.....  but were not aloud?

  8. I love going to the track and betting the ponies but I sure as h**l ain't going to knock someone that doesn't see it as fun or hates gambling. Lets face it, most of the time it is a losing proposition.
