  1. My son's father takes full responsibility for his son. You might not always see him out with us because he works hard to make sure my son has everything he needs. He also supports me fully while I am in school to become an RN.

  2. when i became pregnant at 17 my mother and grandmother both told me the same thing...no matter how much you think he is gonna be there to help he wont be there as much as you think.  My gma had my mom at 16 and my mom had me at 20 and i had my daughter at 18 so i would have to say that is why.  The dads may be around but they arent as dedicated as the mothers have to be

  3. I'm a girl - how am I meant 2 know?

  4. a lot of the time the dads may be working so not seen so much with the mother and baby. Also sometime he may not even know about the baby being born.

  5. I was a teenage mom and my now fiance is still with us and we are on our second child, he is the best father I could ask for, we were older teens though, 19. My sister's 15 and her boyfriend has been MIA since her baby. I think it is because teenage girls are ridiculous honestly, my sister is a drama queen and she uses the baby to control him, so granted it's not a good reason, but the only way he could even see the baby is to go to court and get a paternity test, and he would get into trouble because he was 17 when she was 15. So he isn't around unless she lets him see him. Which is stupid but she is 15 and stupid.

  6. *Most* guys do take responsibility for their children.

Some don't, though.  Some women don't, either.

In the case of some guys, they and their children's mothers, are raised to believe that *most guys don't take responsibility for their children*, so, when things get hard, they can justify being irresponsible - that's what they are expected to do.

What we need to do, instead, is to start teaching our children that fathers are just as capable of parenting as mothers -and- that they are just as important in a child's life as a mother is.  Once we have a generation of people, both mothers and fathers and society in general, who believe this, then things will start to turn around.

  7. because they are jerks that is why,

It takes two to make a baby but when the deed is done the guy gets going,

ITs not easy for the girl as they have to carry the baby,

If men could get pregnant the women would do the deed then get going

  8. Cause that is how parents raise their children....to leave all the house work and child rearing on the woman and expect her to hold a full time job as well. I will NEVER raise my son to be that way..when my daughter wanted a baby doll so did he, so I got it for him but you know what...I don't believe it makes a boy g*y...maybe I can show him to be nurturing and now how to take care of a baby as I would show my daughter when she plays with the doll as well...

  9. I'm not really sure, I've seen it go both ways. My cousin (a girl) is a single mother (father a deadbeat jerk--he's not in the pic but my stepbro is a single parent, but the girl just left the kid. I guess it's a sterotype.
