Why dont my rats freak out>?

Question

ok so if i cought or sneeze my rats go running about their cage, but any other noise, or loud noises on the tv they arent bothered about. why? they are males both 6 months old now or close to

Probably because a sneeze is more sudden than turning the tv on (unless of course it's really loud). I have two mice and one of them freaked out when I sneezed. Ran under the wheel and stayed there for a couple minutes.

maybe because they ar used to tv sounds and maybe they run away when u sneeze because they dont want germs... thats my guess

I would guess that it is because a cough or a sneeze is sudden whereas even if there is a sudden loud noise on TV there has still been the background noise leading up to it. That would be my explanation! ;o)
