Why dont people at burger joints like mcdonalds and burger king, give you mayo and ketchup?

Man that really pisses me of,, here I am paying freaking a lot of money for a burger thats made of the all the waste parts (why, cause these big corporations closed down the real burger joints with their money etc).. so i am paying for a burger that could be made from the bowels of a cow, and bread thats worth 1 cent, and YOU CANT FREAKING GIVE ME KETCHUP AND MAYO...

umm.....you know you can juz ask ryt? if you request for mayo n ketchup n dey dun gif it to you, then ask for the person's name n email your complaint! haha!!

Maybe to smother the taste?  (Or lack thereof?)  Really they just try to package to the mass market.  Try getting a burger with mayo in europe...  They'll think you're insulting them.  All depends on where you are.

Why give everyone the packets if everyone won't use them?  That is just plain wasteful.

Because a long time ago they use to pass them out freely and put them in your bag.Too many people didnt want them so they were just throwing them away.So now its on a request bases.

But,I agree half the time i never even get a straw or packet of ketchup.I like when i say plenty of horseradish at arbys and they hand me two packets.lol

I've never heard of a burger place not putting any kind of condiment on their burger...unless it's a place where they allow you to build your own burger.  McDonald's always puts ketchup and mustard on their burgers, and at Burger King it's usually ketchup and mayo...I'm not seeing the issue here...unless you are ordering your burgers plain there's condiments on every burger

The mayo is already added to the sandwiches (ie burger) and ketchup is given when one asks for them. Some fast food placed have ketchup near the soda fountain.

The packets are given away upon request. This is due to the cost of the individual packets in bulk. They are not making money off of them and are instructed to give them when you ask. This I think is BS I always go in and ask for a bunch. What really makes me mad is when the little son of  a ***** gets an attitude about it. I would like to pull the little b*****d out of the window.

Because it's already on the burger. You can simply ask for extra, wtf is the big deal ???????
