  1. cause it messes up carpets & floors...we have winter here...our flors would be a mess

  2. i strongly agree with monique!! shoes have sso much bacteria from the street and then u walk around ur house then it goes every where. its called common sense

  3. Because living in a cold climate causes us to grow wooly fur on our feet like bigfoot, so we don't need shoes.

  4. the way some family do, is that they use special shoes for the house that they don't wear outside, or they are more like slippers than shoes just to make them feel comfortable specially if they have carpets in their house.. on the other hand, i never heard of such a thing...

  5. it keeps the floors cleaner and looking nice. also feels nice with out shoes

  6. Wear shoes in my house all you want.  But if you damage my oak floors.. you'll pay for the damaged sections to be replaced.

That's what I tell people when they want to wear shoes in my house.

And Happy Canada Day back to you.  Will you be at Parliament Hill having a good time?  There's no funner experience than tapping a keg on the front lawn.

  7. I'm an American and my family doesn't wear shoes in the house either.  It's because you are walking outside and pick up all kinds of germs and dirt on the bottom of your shoe and it's not sanitary to bring that onto your clean carpet and home.  It's healthier to take your shoes off.

  8. why would you wear shoes inside a house? is there any country that does wear shoes inside?

houses have carpets.... and other types of flooring. So unless you are in a garage or shed, or if your house is realllllly dirty, the shoes should be off ;)
