  1. the law says you have to have a rear view and a drivers side mirror, but i think that car had it knock off and the person cleaned it up to make it look nicer.

  2. they come with one, that guy doesnt have one.  I dont know about california but i know in virginia, its legal as long as you have a rear view mirror

  3. i looked for pics of one and all the pics i've found have one.   from the dent on the side of that car maybe it was in a accident and the just fixed it so it didn't look  bad.   http://www.flickr.com/photos/philwalter/...

  4. it does, its just that the one in the pic either lost it or the person took it off, but im positive it has one

  5. As far as I know, it was never mandated that you have to have a right side view mirror in any state.

  6. On the CX, the passenger side mirror was an OPTION.  People who are claiming that the owner must have took it off, or that it was damaged and never replaced, are incorrect.  It's just like the USDM '88-'91 STD (standard) hatchback, that only had an option for the passenger side mirror.  My CX came with one, but I've personally seen a few that didn't.

And as stated already, it is legal not to have one as long as you have a working rear view mirror.
