  1. Larry King and Oprah Winfrey are not royalty.

We came from England because of an oppressive king and the power of the lords and others. So, that the people had no say in their government. I guess they have been some changes in your government so that royalty does not control the government but the Parliament does.

Our government type in the USA is where the people elect the people that we want to represent us so we did not want to use royal terms for the people in government.

  2. we had awar over the tyrany of george III of england and wanted to avoid that again

  3. You used to do. I myself am descended from the Baron of Baltimore.

  4. Don'no how you came to that conclusion.

  5. We do, he's called Donald Trump!

  6. We have Crown Royal and royal azzes

  7. We have a lot of people who are a royal pain in the butt....

    *cough*rossie o'donall*cough*

  8. it is because we are democratic nation

  9. because the don't want any?

  10. We don't want them. Having Bush is enough aggravation.

  11. We do, we call them the President, Senators, Congresspersons, thieves and liars in government, just like in England.

  12. Did you forget the Kennedys?

  13. We do, it's called a president.

  14. Because the USA was started as a democracy, not a monarchy like th UK, which is now a constitutional monarchy.  The US never had a monarchy.

Also, I would not classify Larry King and Oprah Winfrey as royal "people."

  15. Same reason why you celebrate Independence Day on July 4th of ever year. The American Revolutionary War (American War of Independence) between 1775–1783 was a war between the Kingdom of Great Britain and the thirteen "United Colonies" wanting to overthrow the British rule. The American politicians at the time wanted to declare independence by becoming a republic nation without the monarch as the head of state.

  16. The royal people in us would be the people who were originally living there before english settlers came .

  17. The people you mentioned are not royals.  The Constitution doesn't allow for monarchy.

  18. Basically when the USA became independent from the British rulers the threw out the monarchy.

Don't forget the first settles in the USA were those that held a grudge against the British crown for religious reasons

Given that your current president is the son of a previous president you do have somewhat of a monarchistic thing happening. Sure Bush jr was voted it (though debate is still raging on that one) but he was groomed from a young age to follow in his father's footsteps, just as royals do.

So if there is a royal family it would be Bush' family.

PS the fact that you are a republic does not mean you cannot become a monarchy Both Spain and the Netherlands were republics at one stage in history but are monarchies now.

Oh yes and the Swedish royal house was voted in as was the Norwegian

  19. What about Queen Latifah and Prince. LOL
