  1. it shud be wen the moon can be seen

sunnis do it wen the moon is suposed to be seen even tho they mite not have seen it

  2. well you know how muslims follow the moon, well some countries are on different sides of the hempisphere. i know it would be great to all celebrate it on the same day but unless allah wills that is impossible because our moon rises at different times. but it would be wonderful if we can all come together as brothers and sisters to celebrate this wonderful month.

This message is to Who am I:

if you think us muslims can't get along look at ur own religion(whatever that is) islam means peace and if we can be the fastest growing religion then can't we be the ones who argue least. and secondly, muslims respect your religion---- As it says in the quran we should--- so why can't you respect ours?? we have nothing bad to say about you guys so why pick on us? and thirdly, i have a thing to say to you if you don't understand what i wrote up there then all i have to say is may allah guide you to the righeous path.

  3. Simple Cause We are Not United !!  We are one Ummah but hate each Other from Inside and pretend  that we Like everyone !

  4. It depends on the moon... Cause sometimes it appears on saturday for example in Egypt, then appears on sunday in America.. I also wish that these days are the same! It would be so great... all of us having the same occasion in one time... awesome!

  5. because some follow global sighting, some follow local sighting, some follow calculated sighting (which is haraam), and some likes to be different and therefore causes fitnah/trials.

if global sighting is observed by everyone, then we all can start ramadaan same day and eid same day, but there are scholars and people who goes with local sighting and therefore different areas or countries have different days for start of ramadaan and eid.  Both global sighting and local sighting are supported by sunnah, but please note that CALCULATION IS NOT ALLOWED!!!

  6. we cant get along with people like totally blunt is around who hates the arabian muslims and worship the west for the EU union for turkey

  7. Hey,

I didni't kow what we can't...I am a new Muslimah and I don't know about Ramadan(date wise). I need help. I thought it was the first of September..HELP!!!

  8. yah thats true...it's really weird i don't understand why ppl do that

  9. because the Saudis follow a calculated calender and  nearly always do it wrong (a day early)- many blindly follow them because they control Mecca and Medina

Others try and follow the true sighting and so do a day later

Saudi called Dhul Hijjah 31 days last time

    LOL

  10. well becayuse we are all on diffrent parts of the globe. why dont we all have the day starting at the smae time?

cuz we se the moon at different times.

its the same just a coupl of hours diffrent.

i think canada will be on the 9th. sooooo not sure.

@first person: sunnis DO see the moon then they fast. i use a site to help me

  11. In the wise words of one Mr Baba Ali:

When the moon is sighted Ramadan begins, when the moon is sighted Ramadan surely ends, tell your mother tell your father even tell your friends...la la la la
