Why dont wwe have better guys on ecw?

I think they should just get rid of ecw if they aint going to put better guys on there.

ECW is mainly just being used as building blocks for young superstars careers, as the veterans like Matt hardy, Mark Henry, Finlay, Morrison are there to put over the young, future stars.

They have alot of talented new guys. They call it the "New Talent Initiative". Give them time and they'll be the next legends. WWECW (as some call it) seems to be pulling itself out of the toilet. As far as Heyman's legacy is concerned, I think it's an honor thar WWE >>chose<< to resurrect it. It wasn't paying the bills. That's why Heyman sold it. The market for the standard "sports entertainment" wrestling has always endured above all, because of the fact that the stories were always new (which is unfortunately fading) and it was always directed toward a family audience. This isn't to say it's kiddie TV. But it's not TV-MA or Rated R (even when Edge is on).

ECW is something new and different right now. And like many, I agree that there should be more hardcore matches, like the days of the original ECW. But for the WWE to make that work, they need to be able to put over new and fresh talent. It's a tough sell to put most of the WWE old-hands on that program, because most WWE viewers have always been true to the Raw and Smackdown formulas and their Superstars. With the fact that ECW is aired at 10pm, many WWE-purists might not want to bother to tune in. It's building steam, just give it a chance.

Well, ECW is there like that some of the new guys can wrestle and they can learn more and then in the future be moved on to RAW or SmackDown. Also I guess you don't watch ECW, but they have some great wrestlers too.

And I also think that Vince did a really bad thing by buying ECW, I mean that if Vince bought ECW he should've atleast kept it hardcore. I think if Vince moves some hardcore guys and makes a lot of hardcore matches for ECW. ECW will be good but not as good as the old ECW. =]

I think wrestlers choose their careers because they really want to be a world class athlete and they would rather win a belt based on their own merit and skills rather than who the network thinks should win that week.  Yes you have to have skilld to be a part of the ECW, WWE, & WWF, but they are more for entertainment than anything.  MMA is the fastest growing sport right now and you are going to see more of the "better" guys getting into it.

because ecw is for new talent from the independent circut cause guys like cm punk and evan bourne were in the indies and they got on ecw and eventually punk got on raw so its for new talent and to mold guys into great wrestlers like the miz,ricky ortiz,evan bourne,and others also its only a 1 hour show so what do you expect
