  1. Because that is what they pay him to do!

  2. discoun trie?

I think you mean Discount Tire?

Jeff is the national spokesperson for Discount Tire Co.

    (David Ragan's Nationwide sponsor)

  3. it's all about the $Money$

  4. Why not?  They pay him well to wear it.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  5. Because he gets paid for wearing it!

  6. $$$$$$$$$$$$   Wouldn`t you?

  7. Basically, anytime you see anyone or anything with a name on it (a name of a company, I mean) it is there because of Sponsorship - meaning the company PAID MONEY for it to be there!

Whether the company specified where the name should be or whether the track, team or driver (whatever the case may be - in this case, a broadcaster) decided where the name should be, as in the case of a car...someone paid for it to be in that place and decided where it should be!

If it is a sign that goes along the wall of the race, a place where it is seen most often (say the start/finish line or a specifically important corner) by the people on the track but mostly those on tv watching the race...it will cost more than those in places that might not get seen as often but will get flashed occasionally on tv.

If it's a decal on the car, the one on the hood will cost more than small one on the bottom left rear quarter panel.

Everything these days is for sale...and everything it seems has sponsorship!  If it exists anywhere around, on or in the track (or even outside the track for that matter - ha!), it's for sale for someone to pay money to put their name on it!

    INCLUDING SPORTSCASTERS  :-)

    Hope this helps!

  8. i think they have a sponsorship deal for his spokesperson deal......and kentucky IS this weekend

  9. Money-what else.

  10. he is paid to wear that shirt  and yes on kentucky
