Why dose my ex keep on showing up in my dreams?

Like there are times in my dreams where I talk to him like I'll leave my boyfriend ( in my dream) to walk with my ex the sky turns a little redish though. && Now recently I have dreams where he's just standing there because we have mutral friends so he's sometimes around me because of friends.

Most likely you have unresolved issues with him.  Not necessarily that you still have feelings for him, but you might miss certain qualities he had.
