Why dose my sub stop working then it goes back on again?

when my radios on it works for a while then it will stop working not like it blew out or something cuz if i leave it off for a while it will work again and i look at it and it seems like its just bearly on and it happend again and it didnt go back to subbing loud again dose someone have any tips?

here are the possible reasons

power/ground wires on amp not thick enough

improper impedance (ohms) at the amp- too low

sending too much wattage to the subs, or not enough

and the most common reason (if matched properly) incorrect gain settings

. Your 'sub' sounds like it has a heat-related open circuit.

Maybe a solder joint or a transister heats up and stops working. VERY hard to fix!
