  1. General Motors owns both Pontiac and Chevrolet. It's called "badge engineering" and most car companies are guilty of it. General Motors needed to boost Pontiac sales, so they took the popular Cobalt coupe, changed all the bowtie logos to arrow heads, changed some options and the price, and called it a G5.


  2. Because they are the same car. One version for Pontiac and one for Chevrolet.
