  1. it's somthing to do with our skin and nerve cells it's just a feeling after you dunk your body in a cold pool that feels freezing on the outside by in reality is warm when our bodies move around and excersise in it , and then when we get out our body actually our skin cells have to get used to a whole new reality , cold rigid  air ,  and also we have a layer of fat surrounding our body thats in our skin too , even skinny people have fat all people do, thats how it keeps us warm like polar bears in cold water , hope i helped , Good luck !

  2. It is all because of how your body adapts to changes. The human body can adapt to many changes, such as temperature changes, or changes in lighting. Have you ever noticed that after turning off a light, you can't see anything, but a few minutes later you start to see the outlines of everything around you. Thats the same thing. Also, moving around in the water helps make it seem warm, because you are exercising.

  3. the exercise warms up your body. and water is usually warmer than air, even if it doesnt feel like it.

  4. this al depends on the environment you enter the water from too - if its hooter outside, then your body has to adjust to the water when you get in. After it adjusts you dont "feel" the difference as much.It will still ALWAYS reduce your body temperature, unless the water is 34 degrees centigrade...so you have to be VERY aware of the time in the water, as the longer you are in the greater the risk of hypothermia - which will kill you! if you are fortunate to be in VERY warm water, then you need to be aware of hypathermia, where it will increase your core body temperature.
