Why dosen't he answer this question?

The first time my friend told him that me and him should date, at first he said "he wanted to be single for now", and now anytime my friend says that he dosen't say anything. But yet everyone says that he likes me.

Just because some boy likes you, doesn't mean, that he wants to date you. He may be feeling pressure, if your friend keeps at him.

He may be shy, and what is happening, is making him feel worse.

Let him be, let him get up enough courage to ask you out on his own.

If he really does like you, he will. If he doesn't like you that way, then he won't, so just let him be.
