  1. Go to the library, and take out a book called the social and economic history of the Congo. I can´t remember the name of the author, but it should answer a lot of your questions!

  2. I know of no boat by that name.

Try rewriting your question and put it in the correct category

  3. Why does the Democratic Republic of the Congo continue to be plundered you mean.  You might read the history of King Leopold II of Belgium...one fascinating recent work, King Leopold's Ghost, will bring the story home for you.  This goes back about 180 years, so you can follow the story forward to see that the same colonialist powers (minus Belgium) are still exploiting the resources of the African continent as they have for the past 500 years or so.  Not much has changed.

This will also answer why there is so much poverty and famine on the continent.  When the African countries agitated for their independence, most I'll say in the 1960s, the colonalist who could no longer openly take what they wanted abandoned their exploitative enterprises and left the people to starve without the means to manage themselves, since the infrastructures of these countries had no other purpose but to pull out the resources of the continent.

There's much more to the story, but it's best if you discover it on your own.
