I do not believe that all educated people fail in their practical life. First you would need to describe what you mean by saying "practical life". Are you speaking in terms of relationship, family or health and I could go on and on.

Educated people are just like any other human. They are human, therefore, just because they are educated does not mean they are perfect and will succeed in every aspect of their life. That is life itself, is to live and learn.

They lack common sense and wisdom which is vital for practical life. Mere degrees can not ensure practical life.

There are many reasons.

Many educated people are not intellectuals.

As they got memory, they passed the exam.

There are thousands of problems in the life.

The educated people may not have reasoning power to find solution.

Presence of mind is another need for success.

Some people have health problems like nervousness etc.

They use to forget things in need due to nervousness.

Over proud is another problem. They will not try study problem from others. They will not approach others to find solution to the problems. They always pretend that they know every thing. They will not listen others.

People with over proud keeps away form problems and society.

Educated people may not take risk due to their knowledge about law.

Reason failur in short:

* Lack of intelligence

* Lack reasoning power

* Lack of presence of mind

* Lack of boldness

* Over proud

* Nervousness

* Reluctance to take risk, One should be bold.

They may have theoretical knowledge but lack in good human relations and management, and organizational ability. So their actual performance when it comes to be assessed for promotion isnt satisfactory. Like many in the present generation of youngsters who spend so much time with computers and dont know how to react well with people, they will find it difficult to adapt to the workplace. Having high IQ without good EQ is not enough in a working environment.

becoz educated people have only theortical knowledge they r lacking the practical one they work with their mind not with their heart although v all r living in an environment where there is no place for sentiments or emotions but somehow in my opinion they shd try to enlarge their group so that they can see the outer world also other then the knowledge world

Well, judging from your grammar, you don't fall into the "educated people" category. But, the reason is because society looks down on intelligence, so the smarter people try to conform to society, and fail miserably at it. It's a good thing you don't have to worry about this, though.

LOL I wonder how many here are illiterates and uneducated ...are they all failiures that they are speaking like this about the educated?!

Wake up and be logical the first prime minister of India was a very educated man, the man who was leader in the national struggle was a lawyer and was quiet an intellectual, the first woman P.M of our country was an educated lady, even saints like Vivekanand were educated...everybody from peons these days to C.E.O's and social workers is educated atleast to a certain level.Do you think all these people are failiures?? If only uneducated people succeeded then half the population of our country that is illiterate shouldnt be below poverty line

Unless you have emotional maturity you will fail in life and education doesn't guarantee maturity at any level. It gives a false sense of security and exaggerated confidence. I know so many highly educated people who are totally useless when it comes to practicality.
