Simply because one you live on earth! secondly if you really love you will not let him go to get the stars and all because you will miss him a lot!! just testing you....

It is a common human psychology to get tempted and attracted to distant glitters. We all live on this earth. Those who are practical and understand the life as beautiful here itself don't fall prey to such illusions of stars and keep down to earth approach. On the other hand, it reflects the hollowness of the person in his promises to bring stars (atleast not as of now).

So it is the judgement of both the 'promisor' or 'promisee' (excuse me for these words but just to understand) on how far believe each other.

There are men who are practical and down to earth who don't promise stars but real life earthy things, make genuine efforts for that, may or may not succeed, yet leading a very healthy relationships.

In short, one should not deceive and definitely not to get deceived, particulary in such a relation where you can go to the extent of bringing stars!!!
