Why everyone craps on Bob "Hardcore" Holly?

I Live in Mobile, AL and saw Holly's first match in 1987. I know him very well. WWE seems not to be able to find the right spot for Holly,(ex:Sparky Plugg, Hardcore & Crash Holly) his is a great worker, name me many workers that have been with the company since 1992 and are still there. Also, some people question "why call him Hardcore, he don't blade...etc". It's pretty much a "behind the scenes nickname". I have seen him in a many of shoot fights outside of wrestling back in the day. I personally know of NOBODY in WWE that could take him in a flat out fight. You know why he was pulled T.V.? He kicked Ken Kennedy's *** (that's also why Kennedy is off, so he can recover & l**k his wounds) and Vince finded him legit $20,000 (because it's his third fine for jumping on a worker and half killing him). Holly jumped up from his seat when told by Vince and said "I could care less......FIRE ME !!" Vince just sat back and laughed. He loves that type of attitude and a person brave enough not to kiss his ***. Holly just got his "certificate" from his required anger management class he had to take. He should be back soon. Vince loves a true bad ***........which he is.

  1. but holly is very stiff and the ring..and he is very BORING

  2. Actually Boss, Kennedy is off because of a dislocated shoulder suffered in the ring.

Nobody likes Holly because he is boring and has gotten legitimately hurt so much in his career

  3. I like him.

everyone should lay off. it's go to see he hasn't been fired yet!

  4. Well, Holly debuted with the WWE in 1994 not '92 and he didn't attack Kennedy.  The only person he has actually legitimately gotten into a fight with was Rene Dupree over a ticket and Vince fined him $10,000 for that.  He works stiff with new talent because he feels they have to prove themselves.  They were going to have him feuding with Rhodes and DiBiase but his promos sucked so they cut them.  He's old(45) and I doubt Vince will bring him back unless someone like HHH or The Undertaker go to bat for him.

  5. Those who have watched wrestling long enough to have seen his former "Spark Plugg" gimmick know that he has come a long way in the company since those days. It is true that his name of "Hardcore" not only suits his true tough nature but his style in the ring. Most of the stories that I have heard are that Bob is a guy who is very blunt about what he thinks of other wrestlers and their matches, especially new talent. It is said that he sees himself as a guy who has been there long enough that he should be able to openly criticize other talent if they don't perform as well as they should without any reprucussions.  It is also said that he is a bully, often intimidating and intentionally harming others who he feels are inferior to his skills and/or stature in the company. These claims only seem to come from people who have been subjected to his "bullying" who during interviews tell stories that he's a bad person. I don't know him personally, so I can't say whether these stories are true. All I know so far is that the rumors say he is a bully who cheap-shots and "potatoes" guys in the ring (and outside of it) intentionally (and because he can't work any differently) and opens his mouth too much. JBL is said to be the same way.

Concerning his WWE spot, as of now I suppose they consider him to be a guy who can get the other talent ready for their shots. He's somewhat of a teacher. His hardcore, Intercontinental, and Tag-Team title reigns haven't been spectacular but I still see him as a great guy who should be the Heavyweight Champion purely because he is a legit tough guy. However, his matches have never been that interesting unless he's just totally beating on somebody. He reminds me of Tully Blanchard in many ways. Him and Arn were so awesome together, but I could never see Tully getting much higher than that, specifically a World Champion. I hate to say it, but I just don't know what it is they are both missing, and I just can't see them making the main event in singles.

As far as kicking Kennedy's you-know-what, I hadn't heard that anywhere. Vince might love a bad *** but I don't think he likes people who don't kiss his ***. The boys might get away with it in certain circumstances, like calling his bluff, but if Vince is mad enough I don't think there's anyone who is going to tell him off no matter how bad *** they are.
