  4. It makes them feel better.  Yes it is sexism but we don't care that much.

  5. Males of the upper classes used to be called gentlemen, and females ladies.  Nowadays the terms seem to have been somewhat democratized, you don't have to be upper class to be refered to as 'lady' or 'gentleman'.

    'Lord' and 'Lady' are titles when used for members of the aristocracy.  A Lady is normally the wife of a sir or a lord, or the daughter of a lord.

  6. Actually, people refer to me as "Lord Kitana". I know, I know, it's a double standard, but what can you do?
